lucky stars BOM

finally back in my sewing room...working the last week on the "lucky stars BOM" from dont call me betsy...i have always enjoyed paper piecing all sometimes i don't pay enough attention and make mistakes...can be a little frustrating as it is hard to take the block apart...i use ordinary newsprint paper found in children's scrap books i buy at the dollar stores...i just scan the template on the newsprint
the scrap book i used to cut letter sized paper from
this is half of the practice block which of course i have been working on after i finished jan, feb, mar and april blocks
the january block
the february block
the march block...i redid this block with a white background which made it come alive as compared to the first one
the april block i find this one very busy with almost too much going on

Great blocks. You reminded me I am about 3 months behind in doing these blocks. Thanks for the inspiring reminder.

Lovely blocks, I really do love a sampler block & even more so if it's foundation pieced :)

I love your sense of colour Sherry but am with you on the 4th block - it seems a diffeent style to the other three.
