I live in South Australia. It is hot here the temperature hasn't dropped below 34C this week and at night it is hovering around 28C.
This is too hot, dreaming about snow and rain or just a nice balmy summers day.

We have 2 fabulous quilt shops in our rural community. They are owned by amazing local ladies who are generous with their knowledge. There is even a local quilt show with free admission. I wander and wonder at the beauty created by simple cloth and thread. And the mind of a quilter :)

I live in NJ where we had a snowstorm on Friday. Now (Monday) most of it has melted and it feels a little springlike. Sadly, we don't have much in the way of quilt shops nearby.

Thanks so much for the wonderful giveaway and your delightful blog! I love that free motion quilting sampler that you did! Here in Wisconsin I shoveled six inches of wet, heavy snow this morning and it's still coming down. I'm grateful for the oppotunity to look at cheerful spring fabric on this blog hop!

I am in NY where I am truly sick of winter. THO, it was a gorgeous spring like weekend this past. Going to be a nice week until Friday when the temps drop again. I have done so much sewing and that is the best part of winter for me. I live in the country and I love it. Thank you for this give away and happy Spring to you.

I live in Washington State and we've had a tease of some spring-like weather. Hopefully more soon, I want to get some flowers planted!

I have a few local quilt shops, which I count myself lucky at having a variety close. One of the shops does the more muted, civil war type fabrics. One has a huge variety of fabrics for such a small shop and the other one gives out small rubber ducks when you purchase something. I love them all :)

Austin, Tx is cool and sunny today. I love those clips too!

That dandelion fabric is so cute! I live in PA and I love that we have 4 seasons! Yes, the snow and cold of winter gets annoying sometimes. But I wouldn't want to miss the fall leaves or summer skies if I lived somewhere without snow - so I'll deal with it!

Jodi said...

I am in Newcastle, NSW Australia. It is Autumn here though you wouldn't know it with the warm summery days we are still having. I am sure it will start to turn Wintery soon.

Live in far northern California up in redwood country. So nice and quiet and rainy but never too cold or too hot. Thanks!

Catskill Quilter said...

Those Spring fabrics are stunning! At present I live in northern Florida, which is the southern most part of the east coast of the U.S. The advantages are no snow, and at this time of year my parsley and chive plants are thriving. It is very grey looking outside though, and we have a tree which drops its (brown, dried up) leaves all year long, without ever being bare. I used to live in upstate NY, at one time as far up as Lake Ontario, and I miss the beauty and the hush of snow!

I live on Vancouver Island, so instead of winter blues, we get winter greys. And today, buckets of rain. Can't complain though. The daffodils are blooming and so are some of the early cherry trees. It's a relief after all the snow we used to get when we lived on the prairies. Thanks for the great giveaway opportunity.

Edith said...

Delightful fabrics, sure to chase the winter blues away. I live in Calgary, Alberta and it is around the freezing point here, still snow on the ground and our climate is dry.

Nancy Sue said...

Hello from Maryland, near Washington DC /Baltimore, where the cherry blossoms are loving this unseasonal warm weather and will chase away those winter blues. It won't last long though and the March that came in like a lamb is going to go out like a lion :) Thank you for participating on the blog hop. What fun!!

I live in a tiny town located in the mountains along the Oregon coast. It's so pretty, very temperate weather and I happen to love the rain so I'm happy being here. The only drawback is that I have to drive over a mountain pass to get to the nearest fabric store, and sometimes in the winter the road washes out! :)
